Are you looking for double-sided adhesive tape for bonding carpets or floor coverings? Tesafix 4964 is a tear-resistant cloth tape that is mainly used in exhibition construction and event technology to fix floor coverings in place. Thanks to its particularly thick adhesive coating, Tesa 4964 double-sided tape is suitable for use on rough or uneven surfaces.

A white fabric is used as the backing material. As is typical for cloth tape, Tesa 4964 is particularly flexible and, thanks to its conformability, is especially suitable for uneven surfaces, for example when bonding textiles. The double-sided adhesive tape can be easily removed from clean and cohesive surfaces.

Adhesive

The adhesive coating consists of a rubber adhesive. It offers particularly high initial tack on a wide range of surfaces and is also suitable for bonding non-polar plastics such as polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE). With its exceptionally high adhesive coating weight, Tesa 4964 also adheres to difficult-to-bond surfaces. When warm, the cloth tape can be removed quickly and without residue from most surfaces.

Tesafix 4964 is supplied as roll material. The roll core is made of sturdy cardboard. The inner diameter of the core measures 76 mm / 3 inches. To prevent the rolls from sticking together during transport, each roll is protected on both sides by silicone-coated discs.
