DuploColl 56056.1 is a high-performance double-sided PE foam adhesive tape designed for demanding industrial applications. It is intended for permanent bonding tasks where high final strength and long-term reliability under varying environmental conditions are required.
The black, elastic PE foam carrier adapts perfectly to smooth and slightly uneven surfaces and compensates for stresses caused by different thermal expansion rates of bonded materials. The pure acrylic adhesive provides a controlled initial tack and develops very high final adhesion after curing.
Thanks to its outstanding resistance to temperature, UV radiation and weathering, DuploColl 56056.1 is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Adhesive System & Construction
The 2.0 mm thick black polyethylene foam carrier is coated on both sides with a high-quality pure acrylic adhesive. This adhesive offers excellent resistance to ageing, UV exposure and environmental influences.
The adhesive surfaces are protected by a white liner.

Tips & Notes Although the foam tape is highly temperature-resistant, the recommended processing temperature is between +18 °C and +35 °C. The substrates to be bonded should also be acclimatised to room temperature prior to application to prevent condensation, which could negatively affect adhesion. |

Packaging
DuploColl 56056.1 is supplied wound adhesive-side in on a stable cardboard core with an inner diameter of 3 inches (76 mm). Silicone-coated cardboard discs are placed between the rolls to protect them during transport and storage.
Shelf Life
When stored in the original packaging under normal conditions (humidity 50–70% RH, room temperature 17–20 °C), DuploColl 56056.1 has a shelf life of 12 months from delivery.
