Do you need a double-sided adhesive tape with excellent adhesion properties that can be used both indoors and outdoors? DuploColl 5015 from Lohmann is a double-sided foam adhesive tape that has proven itself especially in bonding different materials under challenging conditions.
Thanks to its compressible foam carrier, the mounting tape adapts optimally to the substrate. Its elasticity reduces stresses caused by different expansion behaviours of bonded materials under fluctuating temperature conditions. The combination of excellent initial tack and the thickness of the polyethylene foam ensures high shear strength on both smooth and slightly rough surfaces.
Adhesive System
Lohmann’s DuploColl 5015 consists of a white polyethylene foam carrier coated on both sides with a modified acrylic adhesive. This adhesive is characterised by excellent resistance to ageing and weathering. Combined with outstanding temperature resistance, DuploColl 5015 can be safely used for indoor and outdoor applications in temperature ranges from -40 °C to +90 °C.
In addition, the adhesive is largely resistant to chemicals and plasticisers. The adhesive surface is protected by a yellow silicone-coated paper liner.
The total thickness of liner, adhesive layers and foam carrier is approx. 0.53 mm.

Tips & Notes Although the foam tape is highly temperature-resistant, the recommended processing temperature is between +18 °C and +35 °C. The substrates to be bonded should also be acclimatised to room temperature prior to application to prevent condensation, which could negatively affect adhesion. |

Packaging
DuploColl 5015 is supplied wound adhesive-side in on a stable cardboard core with an inner diameter of 3 inches (76 mm). Silicone-coated cardboard discs are placed between the rolls to protect them during transport and storage.
Shelf Life
When stored in the original packaging under normal conditions (humidity 50–70% RH, room temperature 17–20 °C), DuploColl 5015 has a shelf life of 12 months from delivery.
