Expansion differences between various materials can be compensated by the foam carrier. With its acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, DuploColl 56025 is ideally suited for both indoor and outdoor applications and adheres not only to smooth but also to slightly rough surfaces. Thanks to its excellent resistance to ageing, weathering and temperature, this branded adhesive tape from Lohmann can effectively enhance your production processes.
This double-sided adhesive tape is most commonly used for mounting PVC, wooden or aluminum window glazing bars. Due to the properties of the acrylic adhesive and the foam carrier, DuploColl 56025 is highly versatile. The foam adhesive tape is also frequently used for the permanent bonding of profiles and glass.
Adhesive / Carrier
The carrier consists of black polyethylene foam with a material thickness of approx. 1.5 mm. It is coated on both sides with a modified acrylic adhesive, one side of which is covered with silicone release paper. The total thickness of the adhesive tape is approx. 1.6 mm. It can be used within a temperature range of -40 °C to 95 °C.

Tips & Notes Although the foam tape is highly temperature-resistant, the recommended processing temperature is between +18 °C and +35 °C. The substrates to be bonded should also be acclimatised to room temperature prior to application to prevent condensation, which could negatively affect adhesion. |

Packaging
DuploColl 56025 is supplied wound adhesive-side in on a stable cardboard core with an inner diameter of 3 inches (76 mm). Silicone-coated cardboard discs are placed between the rolls to protect them during transport and storage.
Shelf Life
When stored in the original packaging under normal conditions (humidity 50–70% RH, room temperature 17–20 °C), DuploColl 56025 has a shelf life of 12 months from delivery.
