File prongs, also called file folder fasteners, are a convenient option, when you need a filing system for your folders or documents. Our file prongs are made of press-cutted steel plates and are coated in white or brass color. The coated metal is particularly resistant towards frequent opening and closing of the file prongs
Mounting
You can process the file prongs manually in several production steps. The prongs are guided by hand through pre-cutted slots of a folder and are bent upwards. Subsequently, the documents are filed onto the prongs and fixed with a compressor bar. To accommodate even large quantities of documents, file prongs are available in a variety of lengths.

Tips & Advice You can bundle your correspondence or documents by only using file folder fasteners. But you should use compressor bars additionally, to increase the persistence of your important papers and to prevent tearing of the punched documents. |
