U-shaped file prongs are a special type of file fasteners. They are made of press-cuted plated steel and are coated in white. The prongs are delivered bent in shape and ready for use. For an increased hold of the documents, the centerpiece has two punched spikes. The fastener is a non-permanent file system and can be removed from the filed documents at any time.
Mounting
Punched documents can be filed directly to a U-shaped fastener, because the ribbon doesn’t need to be guided through pre-cutted slits of a folder and bent. Especially while manufacturing a high quantity of folders, you save a circuitous and time-consuming production step.
