DuploColl 5123 is a double-sided foam adhesive tape designed for such demanding requirements.
The foam carrier is coated with a specially formulated cold-resistant acrylic adhesive, allowing processing even at very low temperatures. The combination of modified acrylic adhesive and compressible polyethylene foam ensures excellent adhesion, even on rough and uneven surfaces.
Thanks to the elasticity of the foam, DuploColl 5123 compensates for stresses caused by different expansion behaviors of bonded materials under fluctuating temperature conditions. This makes the tape particularly suitable for bonding construction profiles or for equipping plastic profiles with a self-adhesive backing.
Adhesive System
Unlike conventional foam tapes, the white foam carrier of DuploColl 5123 is coated with an extremely cold-resistant acrylic adhesive, enabling application at very low temperatures. The tape can be used in temperature ranges from -40 °C to +90 °C.
Both the foam carrier and adhesive system are ageing-resistant and resistant to most household cleaners and polishes. The adhesive surface is protected by a yellow polyethylene release liner.
The total thickness of liner, adhesive layers and foam carrier is approx. 2.2 mm.

Packaging
DuploColl 5123 is supplied wound adhesive-side in on a stable cardboard core with an inner diameter of 3 inches (76 mm). Silicone-coated cardboard discs are placed between the rolls to protect them during transport and storage.
Shelf Life
When stored in the original packaging under normal conditions (humidity 50–70% RH, room temperature 17–20 °C), DuploColl 5123 has a shelf life of 12 months from delivery.
